Happy Australia Day!!
We had a great day at Lake Canobolas with Wayne and Katrina and some of their friends. We went for lunch and stayed on for tea. It is a lovely spot to have a picnic on a hot day.
On the way we stopped off at the Visitor Centre and purchased a friend to take with us.......a photo of Matey attached!!
Tomorrow we leave Orange and will be sad to say goodbye to Wayne and Katrina who have looked after us like kings.
I have been lucky to be able to use their computer so my updates may not be so frequent from now on but I will do my best.
Keep up the good work, looks like fun. Just got back from Mingo, had a great 4 days apart from the WIND and the grumpy ass caretaker. I'd be miserable too if I had to stay there for three years, he's a tool. Bianca is nursing a broken heart, poor kid. Jess off to high school tomorrow, sad for his mother. Looking forward to the next installment!!

ReplyDeleteSounds like a nice Aussie Day. Ours...trav worked and i enjoyed my last day of Dr Phil and Oprah before playing cricket. My team were serious losers...but it was good, hot fun!
Do your best to keep updating us all on your travels! and what it's like with 3 travellers now.

ReplyDeleteIt was so quiet when I got home without Matey barking and jumping all over us. That was Matey, doing the jumping and barking, wasn't it?
We loved having you stay and thank you so much for visiting us, you are wonderful guests and beautiful friends. We are very lucky. So no one be afraid to be home when they get to a town near you.
My day went well, a beautiful lunch, we are becoming official Wake Taste Testers, I have a 10 o'clocker on Friday and will be checking out the catering.Love you , keep well and just enjoy yourselves.
I'm a bit concerned about Matey, I think you both might be losing it. Try to keep your marbles it's early days.
