We have made it to Canberra. I think it is such a lovely city with so much for tourists to see and do. We hope to ride around Lake Burley Griffin tomorrow but have to get there first. It is a bit far for me to ride from the caravan park.
Today we went to the Mint and paid $3 for a $1 coin!! We were also lucky enough to be at the War Memorial at closing time for the lone piper......very moving. No photos this time but I am almost ready to publish my next poem.......

ReplyDeleteHave you developed Alzheimer's with all the sight seeing? They saw you coming didn't they, $3 for a $1 coin, I've got about 1000 $2 coins I'll sell you the bargain price of $5, they retail for $6 at the mint and $2 at the bank, OK you drive a hard deal, you can have them for $4........
