We could not believe the number of mine sites between Eton and Moranbah which is 160 klms and then between Moranbah and Emerald. There are mine camps set up in the middle of nowhere as well. Apparently there are also 24 new mines proposed for this area. We also passed so many of Greyhound buses which are the buses that transport all the mine workers to and from work. There must be a huge fleet of buses just for that purpose.
It is a whole different world out here.
