We had heard a lot about the Margaret River area and I have to agree that it is a lovely area especially if you like wineries. They are lots and lots of them. Keith's mate has an organic winery, Settlers Ridge. They have a shop in the town of Cowramup, affectionately known as Cowtown, so we didn't actually get to their winery.
There are also a lot of spectacular beaches. We are at Yallingup which is another small coastal town with lots of big, expensive looking houses.
It is overcast but no rain today which is good for us. The countryside is very green but not always like that apparently.

ex-RAAFies everywhere. What with you knowing everyone who has ever lived in Hervey bay and knowing lots of ex-RAAFies it seems you have a large percentage of the population covered.
