We saw little fellows like this lurking in the Daintree River on the cruise that we did.
Cape tribulation at the end of the bitumen on the coast....a nice place to visit but a long and windy road to get there as well as a ferry ride. There is no shortage of water in the Daintree. Last year they had 8 and half metres, yes metres, of rain. This year they have already had 3 and half metres. They do love a blue sky!!
