Fun at the Rock

As you might have guessed Gail is still having trouble with her blog.

So, I'm just letting you know they have arrived and are doing their best to have a great time. Keith hiked around the base of the rock, Gail sat the 10kms out, surprise, surprise!

Hopefully tomorrow the rock will be open so Keith can upset our indigenous cousins and climb the monster.

  1. Thanks Tania for filling in for me. As a matter of fact I decided to respect the wishes of our indigenous brothers..........when I saw how steep it was.
I was very thankful the wind was blowing but there is quite a few criteria for closing the walk down...heat, rain when it looks like rain, actual rain, cloud, likelihood of thunderstorms, during rock rescues and when the traditional owners request closure for cultural reasons!

  2. ....and cause it's steep, don't forget that. I won't think less of you for being respectful of their wishes.

  3. Tell Keith to wear a dress to climb Uluru. Like Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, a cock, in a frock on a rock.

  4. I'm sure Keith would have a little number to wear for just such an occasion.
