We went to Stanley today and of course thought of Rachel and Travis and what a lovely spot it is. It is almost surrounded by water and it's other feature is a mountain right in town nicknamed "The Nut" and we climbed it.............very steep it was although not very high. Once again a great achievement!!
We also drove on to Smithton to have a look around but nothing impressed us there.
Tomorrow we are heading to Strahan.
It will probably be Hobart before I put photos on.

Oh how wonderful...thinking of us on your trip! Lucky Stanley was on the itinerary - bet it really was a lovely place.

Enjoy the cool weather while you can, as others have said, it really is hot and humid here! We have been getting a lot of rain of late - town further west are flooded!
Have fun, looking forward to the photos (you amy even get photos of you and dad together now that there are others there who can act as the photographer).
You'll both be getting fit if you aren't careful. I had a lovely sleep in my own bed after a 4 nights in Sydney where I slept poorly, sharing a bed with Claudia. It was a fun weekend tho.

You seem to having a great time in Tassie. I lived it when I was there years ago and the places you are going to are bringing back memories - mostly good I might add!!! We will go one day.......

Sam started a job today. She will be happy to have money again and so will I!!! Not the job of choice - working for an automotive wholesaler in the stores. Will be doing deliveries as well and also some office stuff. Bit of everything.
We have had over 5inches of rain over the last couple of days and it is cool. Not as cold as you have been but enough. Today is better.
