Actually it is quite small but it is a little town on the Murray and we happened across the Neighbourhood Centre with free internet so couldn't pass up a chance to say hello and it is air conditioned. We spent the hottest night of our journey last night...........not a breath of wind!
We were walking through Woolworths yesterday in Echuca and ran into a girl (about my age) we used to know in Hervey Bay. What a coincidence............we went around to their place (Gail and Owen Suter) for a drink and a chat before we continued on. We hadn't seen or heard of them for nearly 10 years and didn't even know they loved there.
It is nearly time to face the heat..............never a dull moment.

What a small world!!
ReplyDeleteSounds like your in my world - appreciate going to Woolies to have a/c. Fun...with only the occasional fly makes it all that much more exciting.
Photos...yes please, just so we can experiece some of the paradise places you are travelling to.
As you know nearly everyone who has ever lived or been to Hervey Bay, you were bound to run into someone soon. Sounds like you're having a good time at Maccas using the free internet and sampling the cakes.
ReplyDeleteDo you buy anything at Maccas or just share a 50cent cone? Sounds like heaven! Not much happening at home. I'm helping at the florist Fri and Sat. B1 enrolled for uni. Went and saw It's Complicated, laughed and laughed, Martin was sitting next to some senior citz and they were cacking themselves. Have got my bike out again, you have inspired me. That and I have to limit the kms on the new car. Miss you both lots, we are doing invites for B1's 18th if you need another excuse to fly home, will email a copy to you anyway. I really should have just sent you an email.
ReplyDeleteThe above comment is from Tania, not from yourselves just in case you think you're losing your marbles. I was signed in with the wrong email address.
